The officer involved in this morning’s shooting has been placed on administrative leave as of today. That is standard procedure when an officer is involved in a shooting.

Earlier this morning 22-year-old Ulises Villalobos attempted to run over this above mentioned Bismarck Police Officer.

Villalobos is described as an Hispanic male who is about 5’9″ and 170 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. He is described as wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans. He has a tattoo on his neck as well.

Around 10:55 a.m. this morning, Bismarck Police Officers were assisting parole and Probation on the 3200 block of Montreal Street.  As one male was fleeing in his vehicle, he attempted to run over a Bismarck Police Officer.  The officer fired at the suspect vehicle.  Police are actively searching for the suspect.

The vehicle has since been located, but a Blue Alert was sent out to the entire state as they believe Villalobos is still on the move.
