The Bismarck Bucks fell 82-43 to the Sioux City Bandits Saturday night.
The first half was a back-and-forth affair between the two teams.
Jauhem Byrd scored the Bucks’ first touchdown of the night via a jet sweep to the right side of the end zone. His efforts put the Bucks up 10-7 in the first quarter.
In the second quarter and down four, quarterback Josh Straughan aired one to the left corner of the end zone, and Damian Ford made an athletic grab to give the Bucks back the lead.
What was a close game became a lopsided contest in the second half. The Bandits would eventually fire on all cylinders offensively and emerge with an 82-43 win, ending the Bucks’ season.
