Bucks look to avoid trap game against 1-8 Kansas City

The Bismarck Bucks seek their fourth win in a row on the road against the Kansas City Phantoms on May 13.

Bismarck will play their first road game since March 25 against the Bloomington Edge.

The Bucks come in winners of three straight, but those wins occured during their four-game homestand.

Bismarck has to avoid overlooking the 1-8 Phantoms to next week’s game against the Northern division-leading Sioux City Bandits on May 20.

“The truth is we have no business overlooking anybody,” Richard Davis said. “The truth is just a little bit ago we were 1-4. Yes, I’m proud of us for fighting back. Yes, I’m proud that of that fact that we hung in there, but we’re still not a great football team.”

On April 15, Bismarck defeated Kansas City 51-35 at the Bismarck Event Center.

This game is the start of three consecutive games on the road.
