Bucks miss No. 3 seed on botched field goal

The Bismarck Bucks missed an opportunity to claim the No. 3 seed in the North Division as the potential game winning field goal went right on June 3 at the Bismarck Event Center.

Bismarck battle back from a 10-point fourth quarter deficit to be within a point with five seconds left. Evan Connolly missed the kick that would have given the Bucks the win and the No. 3 seed in the CIF playoffs.

The Buck lost 79-78.

The loss locks in the Bucks as the No. 4 seed. They travel to Sioux City to play the Bandits for the fifth time this year on June 10.

Sioux City won the season series 3-1.
