It’s the twentieth anniversary of the Women Building Hope Golf Tournament.
The Souris Valley Golf Course hosted the event for women to raise money for cancer patients at Trinity Hospital.
All skill levels were invited to come out and play for the cause.
Thirty-six teams, comprised of four women each, competed in a golf scramble.
This style allows players to pick the best of the four shots with each round.
Prizes were awarded for various feats, including for the longest drive and for the ball closest to the hole.
“So we’re just having a good time. And you can’t beat the weather, and it’s perfect. Yeah. And we’re having a great time.” said Anne Bodine, Cancer Survivor.
Last year, the women’s tournament and men’s golf event raised sixty-two thousand dollars.
