Governor Doug Burgum will be in Beulah and Hazen today his Main Street Initiative.
He will be joined by Lt. Governor Brent Sanford and other state officials for roundtable discussion on how the state can best our communities to develop a 21st century workforce, smart, efficient infrastructure, and healthy vibrant main streets.
This is the first in a series of meetings the Governor is hosting that will allow city leaders and community members to share their concerns and identify opportunities for growth as the governor’s Main Street Initiative is developed.
The public is invited and the schedule goes as follows:
3:45 p.m. — Burgum and staff to tour Beulah
4:15 p.m. — Roundtable discussion at Beulah Civic Center, 120 7th St. NE
5:15 p.m. — Burgum attends Beulah City Council Picnic
6:30 p.m. — Burgum and staff to tour Hazen
7:00 p.m. — Roundtable discussion at Hazen City Hall, 146 Main Street E.
