Business Beat: Biscuits and Bows

In this week’s business beat, a pet groomer in Minot is offering a new service to its four-legged clients.

Biscuits and Bows is trying out an energy healing technique called Reiki.

A person places their hands and energy on someone else and it relaxes them.

The technique is now being used to calm anxious pets.

The owner tried it on her pets at home after a friend introduced her to it.

“It’s worked with all of my animals, so I started kind of just bringing it into the salon,” said Tamara Fettig, owner Biscuits and Bows.

“Like I said, you don’t even have to put your hands on the animal for them to feel your energy, just like when you see a dog walk by and it makes you smile–same thing,” she added.

Biscuits and Bows plans on offering a class to teach clients how to use Reiki on their pets.
