Bismarck and Williston are welcoming new businesses.
A Minot business that started out as a food truck has found a way to stay open for the winter.
Power Plates Meals opened in Bismarck earlier this week.
The store sells pre-packaged, ready to eat meals.
The hope is to offer a healthy and convenient option for people trying to eat well.
You can walk in to their store and buy as many or few meals as you want, or you can log on to their website to order online and have your meals delivered.
They have 3 other locations, 2 in Fargo and 1 in Grand Forks
“Bismarck was on of our best cities for shipping always, we had such a great response before we open the stores. We felt like we needed to be a part of the community out here and are just really excited to be here,” said Seth Houkom, Co-Owner of Power Plates.
Power Plates Meals rotates their menu every two weeks so customers always have new options to choose from.
You might not be thinking about a round of golf this time of year, but maybe you should think about doing some shopping for the golfing season.
The links of North Daktoa has opened up its temporary holiday shop in downtown Williston.
Customers can expect to find discounts on everything from merchandise to golf club memberships.
The store will remain open through December 22nd.
You can smell it as your driving down Broadway in Minot – It’s Monty’s BBQ.
It opened up in this location over the summer but has been searching for way to stay open for the winter.
The owner found a solution and now provides two ways to order your food.
You can still walk up to the window or you can use the drive up window and order in the comfort of your warm car.
Monty’s still has all the BBQ favorites including brisket, pulled pork, ham and sausage.
The owner says that they will stay open as long as the temperatures don’t get too extreme.
(Daniel Montgomery, Owner) “Good food. It’s good food, good service, fast service.
Monty’s BBQ is open Tuesday – Friday 11-7.
