Business Beat: White House Cafeteria Closes

The White House Cafeteria

Across the river in Bismarck, a restaurant that has been open for decades is closing down. White House Cafeteria has been in the downtown area for 51 years. The current owner has been with the restaurant for the past 17. On top of managing the cafeteria, Mark Miller also works a full-time job.
Miller said while business has slowed, his health is the number one reason he’s taking a step back.

Mark Miller; Owner: “I do appreciate all the people that come in and all the people been here. There’s people that come here every day or every week. You’re guaranteed to see them on a certain day. And you know, you’re going to miss that.”

White House Cafeteria will close Friday, March 28th.

The Ridge Motel
