C-SPAN is currently on a tour of the 50 Capitols — today was Bismarck – the 34th stop.

The C-SPAN crew interviewed Governor Doug Burgum to learn more about North Dakota.

C-SPAN also covers Congress, the White House, the Supreme Court and more.

It is not funded by the government. It’s fully funded by local cable industries.

The bus has 11 tablets inside where they have C-SPAN video — each covering different topics that educate students.

Ketina Francois, Freshman at Legacy, says, “A lot of technology. They had these tablets and a bunch of videos like mini-clips of marches that happened and old documents and presidents in the front. In the back half they just had these big computer things that showed the website that they have.”

In August they’ll be going to Hawaii.

They’ll wrap the bus in plastic wrap— so it doesn’t get destroyed by the ocean spray.
