Calf rescued from South Dakota blizzard

KELO: The April blizzard comes at a bad time for ranchers in South Dakota.

A photo of a calf being rescued is gaining a lot of attention on social media.

Farmer and rancher Bryce Teveldal snapped the picture of brother carrying a calf that became lost in the trees away from the other cows.

“I guess hopefully maybe it helps people realize what everybody goes through out here in a deal like this,” Bryce Teveldal said.

He says they got the calf to a dry place.

Teveldal says he lost one calf overnight.
