Carson Wentz is a household name in North Dakota. Now, he’s officially being recognized on another level.
It’s a symbolic gesture by lawmakers. A resolution congratulating Carson Wentz for his outstanding football career.
It recognizes what he has been able to do on a national scale.
“The fantasitic stuff he has been doing with the platform he has been given through his AO1 foundation and all of the really good work he is doing within the community as well as an international community, such as Haiti where he is doing alot of relief efforts. We wanted to say as a state of North Dakota we are proud of you,” said Thomas Beadle, State Represenative.
Copies of the resolution will be given to Century High School, The president of North Dakota State University, the commissioner of the National Football League, and the owners of the Philadelphia Eagles.
