The Hemp Industry Association has pursued litigation against the DEA over the legality of CBD oil.

It’s being handled in the San Francisco appellate court, and no news is expected on a decision for a few more months. Right now, three judges are overseeing the suit and are looking through all the documents submitted in the case. Lonna Brooks, the owner of Terry’s Health Products had all of her CBD oil inventory confiscated by police months back. Today, she’s involved in the law suit, and looking to gather more support in North Dakota.

Lonna Brooks; Terry’s Health Products Owner: “It was really brought to my attention that we really need a ND Chapter of the hemp association. And I’m a business member of that organization. It was brought to me to spearhead the North Dakota chapter.”

The organization is open to hemp farmers, hemp sellers, or just those interested in the product.
