CDC reminds everyone to avoid tasting raw cookie dough

(CNN)–The Centers for Disease Control wants you to avoid raw cookie dough this holiday season.

If you find yourself whipping up a batch of yummy cookies think twice before you taste the cookie dough. The CDC wants to remind all bakers tasting unbaked products can make you sick.

Flour and raw eggs can contain bacteria or salmonella.

Salmonella can cause pain your abdomen, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever and more.
