Central Dakota Humane Society Rescues 18 Hurricane Harvey Dogs

Just this morning, a small crew from the Central Dakota Humane Society returned home to Bismarck after rescuing 18 dogs from Louisiana.

They had so many donations to take along with this that they had to take extra vehicles, and even rent a UHaul in Kansas City to transport it all.

The Central Dakota Humane Society Director helped rescued dogs from Katrina, and said the decision to do the same for Harvey was an easy decision.

The dogs are now here in Bismarck at the humane society and will be up for adoption soon.

They rescued some labs, pointers, and pit bull mixes.

If you’d like to adopt one of these cute pups or donate to the shelter, click here to be directed to their website.
