UPDATE April, 24: All criminal charges have been dropped against the owner of Hofland Homes LLC, who was charged with writing multiple bad checks with insufficient funds.

Hofland’s lawyers say he has repaid all debt to the individuals and businesses who filed charges against the Bismarck Realtor.

This settled the case out of court, and allowed the charges to be dropped.

There is one small claims court charge pending against Hofland and his LLC.

A Menoken man, who’s the listed owner of Hofland Homes LLC. is charged with writing multiple checks with insufficient funds.

Tyler Hofland is accused in Burleigh County Court of writing 3 different checks to Bismarck area companies totaling more than $110,000.

All of those checks bounced.
The checks were all written to the companies in January or February 2019.

Hofland Homes LLC. lists themselves as a home remodeling or construction service company.
Tyler Hofland is also listed as a Bismarck located realtor.

Issuing a Check without sufficient funds is a Class C felony, and if convicted could land 5 years in jail, on each of the three counts.
