Charges filed in protest camp attack on journalists

Charges have been filed against two people who law enforcement say attacked journalists at the protest camp.
Felonious restraint charges have been filed in Morton County against James White and Kareen Lewis.

The incident happened October 18th.
Three journalists say they were interviewing protestors at the camp when they had to flee into their car after have a protestor try to take their microphone.
Protestors surrounded the vehicle and prevented it from leaving the camp.
The journalists called 9-1-1 after protestors shook the vehicle and hit the windows.
Lewis is accused of restraining the journalists under terrorizing circumstances.
White is accused of standing on the front of the vehicle and yelling at the journalists.
White has also been charged with reckless endangerment and fleeing a police officer after a separate incident two weeks ago.
