Circus brings North Dakota native

News

Come one come all…

“We’re going to be here for two days, today tomorrow and Saturday,” said ringmaster Ari Steeples.

The Jordan World Circus arrived this week  ooing audiences with performing horses, hoop jumping dogs and cats, clowns, high wire dare devils, and among other things you can ride on Lilius who weighs four tons.

The tiger show is one of various acts and their trainer Adam Burck is a North Dakota native.

He now resides in Texas, but he’s glad to be back.

“I always like coming back to North Dakota, We live right now- we live in Texas and I don’t really like the heat I’m more of a cold weather person,” said Burck.

Now Burck travels with these five big cats.

“We do everything from the tigers roll over to –I have two of them that walk on their hind legs- jump through the ring of fire a little bit of everything,” said Burck.

He says his tigers are just like people.

“Each one has a different personality some I can get up and touch and hug and pet on them and there’s some that I have to stay a certain distance,” said Burck.

The tigers along with the horses, dancers, and so much more can only be found at the circus.
