For months now the city of Minot has explored methods to reduce the number of nuisance animals in the city.

Their main focus was deer, turkey, and geese. At tonight’s city council meeting they voted on a no feeding ordinance.

The ordinance will prohibit any feeding of wildlife within city jurisdictions.

The city also amended its hunting ordinance, individuals are still prohibited unless they are properly permitted.
