Kidder County faced Enderlin at Pirate Field Thursday in a loser-out game as part of the Legion Class B State Tournament.
Kidder County got off to a 2-0 lead, but Enderlin got on the board in the fourth, courtesy of an Adam Stenson RBI double.
In the fifth, Kidder County had runners on first and second, and they implemented a successful double steal to get two runners in scoring position.
That gave Jonathan Abbott a chance to provide insurance, and he came through with a two-RBI single to left field. That made the score 4-1, and that would end up being the final.
Earlier in the day, Carrington eliminated Oakes with a 6-0 victory, and Thompson defeated Nelson County 7-1.
Tomorrow, Carrington will play Nelson County at 2:30 p.m., and Kidder County will play Thompson afterward. The winners of those games advance to Sunday’s championship.
