Even though the year is wrapping up, the season of giving is still going strong, and this time you have an opportunity  to help our troops.

The Barnes and Noble Cafe a the Dakota Square mall is hosting a coffee drive for local troops who are overseas.

From now until the 6th of January you can stop by, buy a bag coffee and get one free to send to them, or you can send both of the bags.

The cafe manager says they decided to host the drive because many of the Barnes and Noble employees are spouses of someone in the military.

“A cup of coffee is a very comforting thing at times, it’s something where you sit down with it and it’s very warm and it almost bolsters you from the inside out and that was the best thing we could think, just to offer a simple comfort from home,” said Liz Campbell.

The coffee goes to troops who are stationed out of the Minot Air Force Base and are overseas.
