Community Options gives back to low-income families for Christmas

A local organization is giving back to kids during the holidays.

Community Options is collecting toys for its 4th annual toy drive. It’s an organization that offers a variety of services to people, especially those with disabilities.  They are giving away free toys to low- income families for Christmas.

Director of Services at Community Options, Laverne Stoltz, says they are grateful to have Cedric Theel Toyota in Bismarck and the Girl Scouts of America to help out this year.

“It brings awareness that there is other people out there willing to help. It is not just community options, it’s Cedric Theel Toyota and the Girl Scouts of America . Everybody is working together to help people in need have a better Christmas. It brings smiles to people during Christmas time,” said Stoltz.

You can still donate toys at Cedric Theel Toyata or Community Options until Monday.
On Tuesday, they will be hosting a toy giveaway, it will be open to the public from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
