In its weekly Missouri River Basin report released today, the Army Corps of Engineers notes, “most of the mountain snowpack has melted. System storage is expected to peak in early July.”
Garrison Dam releases were upped to 60,000 cubic feet per second last week, and remain at that level today.
The corps also notes that 30 percent of designated flood control storage remains available to capture mountain snowmelt and rainfall runoff.
