Jeannette Myrhe Elementary had $1,300 worth of damage over the weekend.
According to Bismarck Police sometime between Friday May 11 at 7 p.m. and Saturday May 12th at 7 p.m. someone broke into the school.
Lights in the school were on and the door was propped open with a cigarette lighter.
The principal reports damage was done to a window and a screen.
They also found books in disarray and litter in bathroom.
Nothing else was damaged or missing.
