There’s good news in store this weekend for those of us who wouldn’t mind catching up on some Z’s…
Daylight saving time is coming to an end.
Soon, we’ll get to enjoy that sunshine a little bit earlier in the day.

Saturday – Last Day of Daylight Saving

Midnight Saturday – Clocks Go Back One Hour

Sunrise Sunday Morning – 7:32 a.m.

Sunset Sunday Evening – 5:21 p.m.

Remember to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed Saturday night.
Health experts say the change in sleep patterns can sometimes throw us off for a week or two.
A sleep director we spoke with says it’s important to get out in the sun when you can.

“We want to get out and try to get sun during the day. Get out and exercise, and stay healthy. It all goes back to our sleep hygiene, and then in the morning, get up and get into that sun” says Nikki Mills a Sleep Director at Sanford Health.

Don’t forget to set your clocks back an hour to enjoy that extra hour of sleep Sunday morning!
