A proposed plea deal in a case of stolen identities has been rejected by a Minot judge.
Northwest District Judge Doug Mattson said he would not approve the deal proposed for Ebony Nordelus of Florida.

She’s charged with 23 felony counts of identity theft involving a scheme where she and an accomplice stole checkbooks, social security cards, credit cards, and other forms of ID from people in four states.

The deal rejected by Mattson would have required no jail time for Mordelus and two years of unsupervised probation.
A pre-trial conference has been scheduled for March 6th.
