The residents of Dickinson are already in a festive and giving mood.

The Chamber of Commerce hosted its 3rd Annual Festival of Trees Family Day.

During the event, people donate food and money for charity, and 31 local businesses participate in a tree auction and donation tree, while kids got to meet Santa.

Families who attend the event like the community spirit it brings.

“This year with the Festival of Trees were hoping to have definitely around 400 people, and all of our proceed are going to go to the Stark County Veterans,” said Kelly Heimbach, committee member.

All food donations will be given to the Amen Food Pantry.

Last year the event raised $2,000 dollars, and they expect to raise even more this year.
