Dickinson Roughriders ready for season

The Dickinson Roughriders are ready for action, and it could not come sooner even if they tried.

Their roster is full of Dickinson High players who just finished playing the state championship mere days ago. Essentially, the team has no time off in between baseball seasons.

But these players are eager to get back on the field, and even after a high school season full of wins, the coaching staff says the athletes are just getting started.

“I believe the kids are still peaking,” head coach Stephen Greenwood says. “We’re just going to get better all year, all summer, and hopefully make a run at something special this summer.”

The Roughriders play their first game in Williston on Wednesday.
