Dorrell’s PM Forecast Update Monday 1/30

Across the state today, it has been windy. Peak wind gusts ranged from 40 to 56mph across most of the state. Parts of Central & Eastern ND have also been seeing scattered light snow showers/mix. Otherwise, across much of Southern & Western North Dakota, there has a mixture of sunshine and cloud cover with a few scattered flurries earlier. Needless to say, there has been a lot going on across the state. This afternoon, the NWS in Bismarck canceled a High Wind Warning and Winter Weather Advisory. They also updated a Wind Advisory until 7pm CST.
The next couple of days will bring more changes. Winds will stay moderate to strong through Wednesday with falling temps tomorrow and clearing skies Tuesday evening & Wednesday. By the end of our work week, temps will be back down to near seasonable and slightly below average for this time of the year. Snow chances will remain low through the end of the work week and the coolest night will be Thursday night/Friday morning with widespread lows near/below zero and chills into the -teens. This weekend and into the beginning of the work week, off/on light snow chances will come back into play with temps staying in a seasonable range. Highs in the teens & 20s and lows in the single digits.
Tonight, partly to mostly cloudy with in & out clouds a few scattered flurries and winds calming some. Lows in the 20s with a few teens and a West/NW wind 15-25mph G40 & calming down a bit. Chills in the teens.
Tuesday will bring continued mix/flurries early, followed by falling temps. It will still be windy and partly to mostly cloudy, before we see some clearing later in the day. Highs in the 20s with a few 30s with a NW wind 10-20mph G20-30 and chills in the teens. 
Tuesday night, partly to mostly cloudy skies and much colder temps. Lows in the single digits and on either side of zero with a NW wind 5-15mph and chills near/below zero.
Wednesday will bring more sunshine with in & out light clouds and a chilly feel. Highs in the teens with a NW wind 5-15mph G20 and chills near/below zero. 
Wednesday night, partly cloudy to mostly clear and chilly with temps in a seasonable range. Lows on either side of zero with a NW wind 5-15mph G20 and chills below zero and into the -teens.
