DOT license offices closed Tuesday through Thursday


All drivers license offices across the state will be temporarily closed from Tuesday, September 26th through Thursday, September 28th. 

All drivers license departments are closed due to required annual training for employees in the licensing division. 

There is one exception, the drivers license site on the capitol grounds in Bismarck will be open to the public from 7:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, September 26th.

All drivers license sites will resume normal business hours Friday, September 29th. 

All other services provided by the ND DOT will still hold regular business hours. 

The DOT also wants to remind resident between the ages of 21 and 65 that they are now able to renew their drivers license online. For more information, go to
