Bismarck Police Department’s Drug Unit assisted by the Metro Area Narcotics Taskforce raided the Lucky Duck’s, Pond Bar & Restaurant, Avery’s AM Eatery, J60 and the Vault in the early hours of Friday, April 13th.

The taskforce went into the establishment before 1:00 a.m. bar close. They allowed patrons to leave, but detained all employees.

They did not search the premises until 2:00 a.m., once they received a search warrant. They were looking for controlled substances, drug paraphernalia and signs of drug trafficking.

No arrests were made. The investigation is still active and ongoing. Authorities would not say whether or not they found anything.

KX News reached out to The District and all five of those businesses are open for business as usual.

When trying to speak to the owner of the businesses we were directed to his voicemail which was full.

A manager at Lucky Duck’s said they had ‘no comment.’
