A female driver was arrested for DUI following a car wreck between her vehicle and a train Tuesday, July 17th at 1:26 a.m.

The 2008 Mazda was traveling southbound on S. 5th Street. The driver missed the turn by the Elbow Room at the 100 block of S. 5th Street and the car got stuck on the railroad tracks.

A BNSF train going east on the track was unable to stop and impacted the car, pushing it about a half block.

The driver and two 22-year-old female passengers were able to get out of the vehicle in time.

No one was injured in the crash.

The driver was arrested for DUI and cited for Care-required.
