The dry conditions continue to effect 90% of the state, but drought effects are slowly improving.

The rain we received in the last week has farmers at ease for now.

The NDSU extension center in Ward County says the North Western region still needs about 10 inches of rain.

Our very own Tom Schrader show us which areas in the state need the most moisture.

Tom Schrader reporting: Well McKlein County around Garrison all the way up into Ward County most of Ward County–  most of McHenry County all of Bottineau and Renville County –and we can get some rain tonight but it’s not going to be a drought buster.”
