Two men from Indiana are in a North Dakota jail after police say they were found with more than five pounds of marijuana onboard an Amtrak train.
The arrests happened about 10 last night in Minot after Amtrak workers asked that three intoxicated people be removed from the east-bound train.
Police say they discovered the marijuana in an open backpack and discovered that two men – ages 26 and 27 – had the large stash and had just met a 30-year-old woman from Vancouver.
The woman was charged with a misdemeanor and released while the men are facing felony charges of intent to deliver marijuana.
They’re likely to make initial appearances on Monday in North Central District Court.
