Spring madness is in the air at Dickinson State University, and they hope it will help increase enrollment.
The school is allowing prospective students to submit their application for admission for free in the month of March.
Anyone who submits their application before April 1st will be eligible for a 50 percent discount on their Fall tuition.
However, only three people will be selected for the tuition savings.
The university is also offering a $500 discount on housing ($250 in the Fall and $250 in the Spring).
That incentive is for new full-time students, who submit their housing application and deposit by May 1st.
“We started this program in the Spring to get students who haven’t decided if they were going to go to school, or if they are thinking about transferring to a different school. . . to think about applying to Dickinson State University,” said Laura Nelson, Interim VP for Finance and Administration at DSU.
A little less than 1.400 students are enrolled at DSU; The cost of tuition, per semester, is a little more than $3,000
