The blizzard may be gone, but the efforts of one Dunn County deputy will not soon be forgotten.

With a No Travel Advisory in effect for most parts of Western North Dakota on Monday,
thirty -year-old, Timothy Sul, of the Dunn County Sheriff’s Department posted a message on Facebook that he was willing to deliver food, water, and medicine to those in need.

During the Winter storm on Monday, power outages and whiteout conditions were impacting parts of the Dunn County area.

“I didn’t want people out and driving trying to get supplies. I figured that if we are out here for twelve hours why not help and serve our community. That is what we deputies are here for,” said Timothy Sul, Dunn County Sheriff Deputy.

Deputy Sul has been with the Dunn County Sheriffs Department for four years
