This election has continued to bring in record breaking voting numbers, and we aren’t even at election day.

Over 107 thousand ballots have been cast so far in North Dakota through absentee voting, voting by mail, and early voting. This election has easily surpassed the more than 82 thousand ballots cast during the 2014 midterm election. While this year’s early ballots may be a record for midterms, the record holder for most early ballots in any North Dakota election is the 2012 presidential vote, where 134,803 ballots were cast prior to the Nov. 8th election.
