The month of March is cerebral palsy awareness month.
The KX news team stopped in on an Easter egg hunt aimed to help raise more awareness.
The hunt was put together by a nurse practitioner who was diagnosed with CP at the age of three.
Carla Pease, now reaches out to the community stressing the importance of movement.

“Without awareness there isn’t really going to be change people are going to just accept the norm and be ok with how things are, and that is not okay when it comes to disabilities,” said nurse practitioner Carla Pease.

Cerebral Palsy affects muscle tone, movement and motor skills
