Experts give tips for trick or treaters

Experts encourage children going treat or treating to be visual.
Some great ideas include glow sticks, light up head pieces, or light up costumes.
Costumes should be short in length and its important that children are able to see through masks.Owner of Party America, Mary Hoff, says this is a great way to be safe.
“It just doesn’t take more than a second for something to happen to your kids. Even crossing the street and getting into some of these neighborhoods where you really have to be careful. Its very important that you keep them safe and keep them lit up. so that you can see them as well,” Hoff said. Make sure you try your child’s costume on in advance of the big night, and check for possible issues that could trip your child up, or cause them to not be able to see clearly. And as always check through your child’s candy before eating.
