SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – Facebook is branching out to help its users fall in love.

The company announced a new dating feature at its annual Developer Conference, F8.

Users will be able to set up a dating profile with their first name. Don’t worry, you won’t be matched with someone you’re already friends with.

This will not appear in news feeds.

“I want to be clear that we have designed this with privacy and safety in mind from the beginning,” said Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

The dating feature is set to roll out later this year.
