A 28-year-old woman has died resulting from her car rolling over in a crash.

The incident occurred at 4 a.m. Saturday morning on Bottineau County Road 49, about 5 miles north of Bottineau.

The woman was driving a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer. Michelle Dissette, also from Bottineau, was in the passenger seat.

The Chevrolet was traveling south from Lake Metigoshe to Bottineau, ND on Bottineau Co. Rd 49 when the driver of the Chevrolet failed to navigate a curve in the roadway causing the Chevrolet to enter into the west ditch and drive over an approach.

The driver corrected the vehicle to the east causing the Chevrolet to cross both lanes of Co Rd 49 and enter the east ditch. The Chevrolet struck multiple trees after entering the ditch and the driver was ejected from the vehicle. The Chevrolet then started on fire after coming to a rest facing southwest.

This accident remains under investigation by the NDHP. The name of the deceased driver will be released tomorrow pending next-of-kin notification. No charges have been filed at this time.
