A 79-year-old New Salem man is dead following a fatal crash on Interstate 94.
According to Highway Patrol, two vehicles were traveling east on I-94 when the front vehicle began to slow down for an unknown reason.
The second vehicle, driven by a 37-year-old man from Hazen, was unable to slow down and rear ended the first vehicle, a 1997 Toyota Tacoma.
The impact caused the Toyota Tacoma to go into the ditch and roll. The driver was pronounced dead on scene.
Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
