Today at the Capitol – lawmakers are dealing with the results of the November election.
For the second time they’ll take a look at three bills having to do with the voter-mandated ethics commssion.
There are dueling bills in the house and senate about structuring how the capitol will deal with a measure passed in November requiring the creation of an ethics committee.
There is also a resolution asking legislative management to study what new rules lawmakers should follow.
They’ll be discussing things like lobbyist dinners, campaign contributions and how to discipline one another in the event of an infraction.
And on the House floor, they will vote on a bill that would change the state’s breastfeeding laws – and make it illegal for businesses to prohibit mothers from breastfeeding.
