A famous musical character from Russia visited kids in Minot to share his popular story known as Fiddler on the Roof.
The musical will be performed next weekend but before the big show the main character
Tvye wanted to grab the kids attention.
Kids heard from the book “Tevye and His Daughters” which is what the musical Fiddler on the Roof is based on.
The General Director wants families to know that it’s a show for everyone and this was an opportunity to share that message with our youth.
The children got a glimpse of what the show is about and even got a live preview of one of the songs.

“We just really want the arts to continue to grow in people from a very young age so if we can reach really young kids and get them started on a path of an interest in the arts then that will continue to help the arts thrive in this region and around the world.”>>
Fiddler on the Roof’s opening night is Thursday at 7:30pm in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall.
Tickets can be purchased in advanced at wpopera.org or at the door.
