When it comes to healthy teeth and gums, North Dakota ranks second in the nation in terms of states with the best dental health.

A data survey by personal financial website WalletHub suggests North Dakotans have great dental habits and oral health care.

The state also has the fewest percentage of people who have “low life satisfaction due to oral condition.”

In other words, few North Dakotans are unhappy with their lives because of a dental issue or condition.

And while North Dakotans are good about making sure their kids visit the dentist (7th best percentage in the nation), they are also in the middle of the states when it comes to the percentage of adults who visit the dentist (26th).

The best state for dental care: Wisconsin.

The worst state: Arkansas.
