Food trucks aren’t everywhere in North Dakota but for one day over twenty of them will be in one spot.
On Sunday, Minot will have their second Food Truck Festival.
The event is a fundraiser for ND Strong which is a non-profit that visits local schools and teaches students about film and video photography.
Last year, the hosts expected about 1,000 visitors – but nearly 5,000 attended.
This time they added more food trucks, vendors, an art section, and a beer gardens to cater to everyone’s interests.
“It’s kind of a cool opportunity for us in the Minot community to engage and dive into the festive atmosphere of eating as much as we can in one day,” said Eric Thoemke, ND Strong.
The Food Truck Festival is on Sunday at the All Seasons Arena.
Tickets are 5 dollars for adults, 4 for students, 3 for military and children, 2 and under are free.
