For the first time ever a local senior center hosted a food truck festival, but this one is not like the one you’re thinking of.
The trucks were are not outside rather they were inside.
The indoor food truck festival took place at The View assisted living facility in Minot.
Residents had the opportunity to enjoy Mexican, Canadian, and good old American cuisine.
“My dietary department thought it’d be fun to do a team building activity so we all got together and every department is building a truck for their department and then dining provided all the food and each department is serving the food,” said Dining coodinator Darlene Brown.
The dining department at the View says the indoor food trucks took weeks to build.
