You can now take a free Tai chi course at Bismarck Public Library.
It’s an ancient Chinese martial art practice.
This is an adult course that will run for twelve weeks until May 28, 2019.
Instructor, Craig Triplett, says the practice is used for both self-defense and health benefits.
“I think the physical aspect of it is just balance and exercising the joints. It’s a very soft form of exercise that is very beneficial to the joints especially because you are using all of your muscles very slowly,” said Craig Triplett.
The course is every Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
No experience is needed. All you need is to bring a mat and wear comfortable clothes. No registration is required.
