News

Bismarck – Today is the seventh annual Giving Tuesday, a day dedicated to promoting charitable giving in the same way black Friday and Cyber Monday are promoted. It’s meant to kick off the giving season.

And, On this giving Tuesday and non-profits all over the region are asking for your help.

Furry Friends Rockin’ Resuce says for the second straight year they are participating in Giving Tuesday.

Any amount of money donated will be matched by Facebook and Paypal and used towards easing operation costs.

Some of those include, vet bills as well as food and litter.

Volunteers tell KX News, they couldn’t do what they do without the generous support of the general public.

“We except donations, whether it’s in kind goods, to help benefit the animals from kitty litter to puppy food, etc etc…toys, umm or too monetary donations, we have a mailing address, or again any of those donation site, so were asking just the community to support us and to rally around us” said Volunteer Terri Woo.
