Game and Fish wants to remind people to pick up their trash.
So far this summer they’ve seen a lot garbage, used fireworks, styrofoam, tires, mattresses and kitchen appliances in public use areas.
Game and Fish is asking people to throw their trash away in nearby trash cans.
If those are full, take your trash with you and dispose of it at home.
Illegal dumping is costly to clean up and can take a toll on the environment and wildlife.
They also ask that if anyone sees a littering violation to report it by calling the Report All Poachers hotline at 701-328-9921.
